tinyE: I played Battlefront 1 and it just seemed like running around shooting a bunch of respawning bots. No real campaign, or goal other than a kill quota.
Ya BF1 didnt age as well, But the original BF2 had a campaign that went through the Clone Wars all the way up to Order 66. And it still holds up today.

Was BF1 even finished? I also thought the game lacked any substance yet work on BF2 was already in the works. It seems to like BF1 was released in an unpolished state and then abandoned.

Its Highly possible, BF2 was leaps and bounds better. And it had a high level of polish.
