Madmind Studio is a game development studio created in 2016 that comprises veteran game developers determined to create the best possible, visually stunning games with unique atmospheres. They’re primarily known for their intense and brutal Succubus, and now…

Their 3 new horror games will soon join our catalog: TORMENTOR, PARANOID, and Agony: Lords of Hell.

TORMENTOR
Is an action adventure horror title in which you’ll take on the role of a ruthless tormentor who manages an abandoned prison full of victims sentenced to death. Fight against a developing mental illness that takes away your memories and causes more and more frequent and dangerous fainting. Work with an organized criminal group using darkweb to get more doses of the experimental drug that helps to keep your mind sober.

PARANOID
Exploration FPS that tells a psychedelic horror story of Patrick Calman, a 31-year-old man who lost his entire family in mysterious circumstances - his parents died in a brutal way, and his sister suddenly disappeared for unknown reasons. One day he receives a phone call from his sister, who announces her visit more than a dozen years after she disappeared.

Agony: Lords of Hell
An RTS city builder in which you take over the chaos of hell, which from the moment of when it was abandoned by its original rulers, is consumed with never-ending wars. Become the new king of the underworld - Nimrod, who with his demonic partner Vydija, begins the construction of his empire, conquering more land.

Make sure to wishlist them now so you won’t miss their releases or any special offers!

pferreira1983: Tormentor looks like it's going to please the mainstream media outlets the same way Manhunt did...
Manhunt was a very good sneaking game. Brutal? Sure, but it also had good gameplay. I still got the original CDs :) But somehow I dare not to go to the basement to see if I also have the box.

And also it is at least 40-50% terrible gameplay, because in the middle of the game and up until the end, it largely stops being a sneaking game, and instead it devolves and becomes a gun firefight game, with the gun gameplay being terrible.

SargonAelther: The key word there was "RL". I am very much against killing in real life. When it comes to video game polygons, it is completely irrelevant. I remember when PETA was complaining about whaling in Assassin's Creed 4 lol. Go Campaign in Japan, PETA, stop making a fool out of yourself by protesting video games.
I am not against killing in either real life or videogames, are you really going to tell me you aren't willing to kill in self defense? What I am against is sadistic bullshit, though to be fair this game at least doesn't pretend it is anything other than sadistic bullshit so it's more honest about it unlike many other games.

Long story short; IMO this is a sick game for sick people, I wouldn't ban it but I wouldn't like to hang around people who enjoy it either.

Okay, this is your opinion but honestly ... do you really think that only sick people are playing sadistic games or watching sadistic movies? In that case everybody who watches movies like Hostel or Martyrs or any other gore movie is a sick person. I know that is not the case because I watch such movies and I am neither sick nor sadistic. Somtimes it simply is fun to watch or play something you'd never ever do in reality and since we all know the difference between those two there's nothing sick about it at all imo. It becomes sick if you want to try such things in reality.

We need more horror titles on gog, so this is good news!
Paranoid: Nightwalk Gameplay
Please stop supporting those devs. They continue to neglect GOG when it comes to updates and we are talking about months of delays not a few days. As long as GOGers are still buying their products no matter what they won't change.

Is it a case of delayed updates, or pretty much not offering updates at all?

Then again, this "soon" announcement was given back in July so who knows if these three games will arrive at all to GOG.

EDIT: Ah yes this is the Succubus/Agony developer/publisher. So far I've been mostly annoyed by so many (cosmetic?) DLCs to Succubus, but I haven't followed closely how well those two games have been updated on GOG. Well, at least many of those DLCs came to GOG, if you consider that support...

Silver lining is that yes, we are really "just" talking about EXTREMELY delayed updates (with the exception of the origoinal Agony that never got any update at all and was released outdated - remained so ever since ... the unrated version however is up to date). Here's another silver lining: I did not expect this but apparently Succubus was updated already so this time we only had to wait a bit over 2 weeks which is not that bad. Maybe they actually have improved. Time will tell :)
