Swissy88: Grab Chains of Satinav too if you haven't, definitely worth it.
Thought about it, but tbh, Geron is just such a saddo, not the most inspiring character (seems to be a widespread sentiment, Sadja, the other character in Memoria, seems to be far more popular).
But thx for the recommendation, maybe I'll get it when I'm in the mood for adventures again.

Sadja is just in Memoria, Satinav is the tale of Geron and Nuri, how they came to be.
Both really epic stories, I played Memoria first too before I realized Satinav was a sequel and was happy with it.
I wasn't put off by Geron as much as other people I guess.
Cheers
low rated
I'm sympathetic to the boycott, so I was extra stingy.

I spent a grand total of 5.98 USD on Commander Keen and Outwars.
I claimed Steamworld Dig 2, OpenTTD, and Syndacate Plus for free.
Enough. More than enough. Not going to list all 130+ purchases for obvious reasons.
30 games this year.

nightcraw1er.488: Nothing, nothing at all. Since Nov 2020. No plans to buy anything either. There is a whole thread on the boycot, entirely of gog’s and cdpr’s own making. Probably used to buy 100 games a year before that, but not anymore. I also do not recommend the store, and definitely advise anyone who listens against buying anything from, CDPR.
I bought maybe something around 150 (EDIT: counted, actually it is 220, counting also DLCs) GOG games in 2021 (I didn't count them exactly from the orders page), so I guess that evens it out a bit?

EDIT: I guess I should count them so that I don't lie... Could be much less, it just felt like "must be over 100" when I had several pages for this year alone, but then there were a couple of months in summer or autumn when I didn't buy much at all.

EDIT2: 220 games and DLCs in my orders page this year.

David9855: Hey folks; list what you brought on GOG in 2021.
Nah, I am too lazy to try to gather a list of 220 games and DLCs, too many games. Even counting them from the list took too much of my precious time.

Frankly I am a bit surprised someone would hang around here and only buy a couple of games the whole year, or none at all.

Far too much but luckily not as much as Timboli.
Far too many...
Quite a lot again, and I can't name one game that I completed this year (there must be a few, I just can't think of any off the top of my head. Oh, wait, Halo: CE remastered!)

Notable purchases include Disciples: Liberation straight off Kalypso Store. I have a difficult relationship with the whole series but apparently I keep returning to it like it's an abusive spouse. Ah well, might as well have a crack since I threw money down that drain.
I got this. The gateway game to gambling addictions https://www.gog.com/game/telltale_texas_holdem
Love potions, a fake passport and a doctorate in virology. Gotta love dat spammage!
This sale and this year in general I mostly bought games from my wishlist that I can play on Linux without too much hassle (with a few slips).

It's not ideological for me, just practicality as I don't use Windows anymore. One day if I have time I might set up an offline Windows 7 partition just for old games. Newer games I will wait for the linux version or just skip them.

This sale:

Seven Kingdoms 2 HD - owned on CD from back in the day, heard the HD remaster was fairly good. (Might be a hassle to get this working on Linux.)
Heroes of Might and Magic® 2: Gold - owned on CD, bought for convenience (DOSBox)
Constructor Classic 1997 - owned on CD, bought for convenience (DOSBox)
Zeus + Poseidon (Acropolis) - (Wine)
Papers, Please - (has Linux version)
Don't Starve - (has Linux version)
CrossCode - (has Linux version)
The Pedestrian - (has Linux version)
Divinity: Original Sin - The Source Saga - own DOS2 on Steam, wanted DOS (Linux version) and didn't cost much more to get DOS2 again (DRM free, would work with Wine/Proton as it does on Steam)

The rest of the year:

Surviving Mars - First Colony Edition - (has Linux version)
Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom - (Wine)
Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition - (has Linux version)
Dicey Dungeons - (has Linux version)
Gothic 2 Gold Edition - (might struggle to get this running at all)
Might and Magic® 6-pack Limited Edition - (DOSBox)
Might and Magic® 8: Day of the Destroyer™ - (Not sure)
Psychonauts - (has Linux version)
IL-2 Sturmovik™: 1946 - (might struggle)
RimWorld - (has Linux version)
Terraria - (has Linux version)
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - (has Linux version)
Might and Magic® 7: For Blood and Honor® - (Not sure)
Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete - (Own this game multiple times on CD but picked up the GOG version when it was a dollar)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein - (Linux version exists and is free, but not offered here...)
Deponia - (has Linux version)
Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia - (has Linux version)
Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition - (has Linux version)

Pretty happy with that lot.

In contrast this year on Steam I bought:
Cities Skylines + 3 DLC ($30)

Compared to $290 worth of games on Steam in 2020. Got burned with Steam refusing a refund on a game that didn't work because of DRM.
