Other day I was playing Mutant league Football and had my first successful win out of many game - I think it was 6 to 0
at the last moment the scores were swapped and I was given a 0 for the end game
I figured maybe there was a Dirty Trick ability the A.I. had that I wasn't aware of used at the last moment.

Yesterday I'm playing Crew 2 and got my first 1st place in the Vegas Street Race level but the end game scored me in last place.

It's almost as if my previous failures are being lazily anticipated and Superfetched

Any one else notice this kind of weird in any of their games?
Reminds me of this tool-assisted soccer game:

I heard that, in some sports game (I think (American) football), if you score more than 255 points, your score rolls over to zero.

Tetris: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3QX4PE4fNo (look at what happens score-wise near the end)

In the original Super Mario Bros., if you get too many lives (something like 128 is enough to trigger this) and then die, you get a game over. This also happens in the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 (and is easier to demonstrate there, as you can do the infinite lives trick right at the start of 1-1).
