Based on the privacy policy update alone, it's best if none of us upgrade to Windows 10...

A lot of people upgraded already, a lot of PC gamers upgraded already as well. A bunch of my friends already upgraded to Windows 10 and they are getting their friends to upgrade to Windows 10.

Also, I'm not prepared to lose my all saves, installs and what not.

If it isn't broken why upgrade. Of course I'm curious but not that curious.

I prob should read that privacy policy. You know, we all do and watch horrible things in porntube. =)

I do not care. I loved using Windows 10 when I used the insider preview and I will not log into my Microsoft account. I will be switching to Windows 10 in a month or so.

Why? What makes it better than Windows 7?

Windows 10 boots up faster than Windows 7, Windows 10 has better performance than Windows 10, I have not had many compatibility issues with Windows 10 like Windows 7. Some software that did not work with Windows 7 or Windows 8 now works with Windows 10, the performance benefits and low overhead of DirectX 12 is also worth it for when PC versions of video games start using DirectX 12 and it's free if you want to upgrade within the first year.

Impressive. Most impressive.
I'm still waiting for my Win8.1 system to allow the upgrade... the different methods published online to force the update have all failed for me ><

Hmmm It boots faster and is faster... How big is the base install? Last i heard the last few OSes from MS are insanely huge, and the more to load then the less performance matters because it has so much more to load and deal with. Reminds me, Windows 95 booted with as little as 4Mb of ram i think (8Mb+ Recommended), and it only took a minute to boot because the win.com file had an artificial timer forcing you to wait and watch the booting screen...

There's also XP which you can get a Lite installer which removes all the extra fluff you don't want/need taking the install to about a 200Mb, making it almost perfect for a ramdrive startup.
