Hi

I have the geneforge collection 1 to 5, so far I have tried geneforge 1 and 5 (need to restart both, everyone turned on me in 1 for some reason, and I die in first battle in 5).

The games seem fairly stand alone, so I was wondering if one of them is best to play one handed or if there is one I will not be able to play this way. I can use a mouse ok, but my left arm has problems reaching the keyboard. I could occasionally press space but that is about it.

I don't want to get into a game and then discover I can't get any farther. Thank you for your help

I believe that they can all be played with the mouse only, but it's probably easier if you can use some keyboard shortcuts too. I don't think there's enough difference in the controls for there to be any one game that's better for playing with one arm than any of the others. Overall you should be fine to play any of them with one arm, I think. But I haven't played them in some time and may be mis-remembering some things. Anyone else want to weigh in?
Thank you waltorious

One of the main problems I have found is trying to select your whole group with the mouse. I always have one creature that wants to be somewhere else

I don't remember the controls well enough to help you there. But I have a vague memory that there was a clickable button on the interface that selected the whole group. Can someone confirm?
I've found that you click and drag a selection radius with the mouse to select all available characters. Helps me navigate the wilderness areas quickly.
