Maybe some of you had the same experience or can encourage me in another way.

Since a few days I am playing Gemini Rue and while I enjoy the atmosphere and the story a lot, I have quite a few problems with the technic puzzles as I am no technic freak at all. For example, when Delta Six is in the Maintenance room and looks at the ventilation system map- I just had no clue what to read from it (also have been disturbed by the strange drawings. Only in the end I could figure out what they mean). Now I am in the Weather Tower where there is a note describing what to do to turn on the elictricity and I am totally confused again. I have to switch on or off a lot of switches and I have no idea how they are related to each other and why they are not working. Am I just dumb or what?

Sorry for telling my woes. I don't want to stop anybody to play this game which is really great apart from that.
They're not that complicated, really. The weather tower is pretty simple - just pass the wire up through the top deck. Then the switches just need to be adjusted according to the diagram.

And as far as the vent diagram - the whole point was to show a cross-section of the vents from a side perspective so that you could see where they need to be moved in order to safely pass an object down into a room below.
