Normally this game comes with a serial key, and you can also add it to your inventory on Matrix Games/Slitherine. Meaning you can always download your installer from there.
When I buy it here in GOG, will I get a key, and will I be able to add it to my Matrix inventory?

Most likely not, I own about 20 games on Steam from them and you do not get Matrix Games keys, but you do get Steam keys if you buy it directly from them.

Yes, I know you get steam keys of you buy from Matrix/Slitherine. I have a Steam key for WitW like that indeed. I just hoped the sale on GOG would be a nice way to complete my collection. :)

Steam and GoG do not require serials to run and join multiplayer so of course you can play! :)
