Hi

I have recently upgraded to a new laptop with Windows 11 and have not been able to get Gangsters working correctly. The game will load with the no menu buttons error, however, after copying in the dlsound and dxwrapper files the game does not load, it goes to a blank screen and then comes back to windows. I have tried the options in other threads, running as admin, the option for turning off gsync is not applicable.

I've posted the log below it shows that the application fails when loading but i am not technical enough to understand why, if anyone has any ideas and can help it's greatly appreciated

I have the same issue on Windows 11 Pro - anyone have any luck figuring this out?

Log suggests it may be connected to DirectDraw.

Do you have 'Legacy Components' enabled?

Go to the list of installed programs, on the left it says 'enable disable windows components'.
In the menu that opens, look for Legacy Components, expand, it should have 'Direct Show' enabled.
