Has anyone else had any luck keeping police on the payroll for a long period of time? I seem to be able to hire them using a lawyer but then after a few weeks their names turn red on the 'police on payroll' report and they drop off. Is this a function of the hostility rating the police chief/individual police has with your gang at a point in time? Just wondering if anyone's been able to do this successfully.

I'm not really sure what influences this.

But guessing, there should be other factors apart from the police's hostility towards your gang. What other gangs do, is important too. Maybe they employ the same policeman? Maybe they bribe the mayor/police chief?
