I own a surface pro 2. Before you start laughing, let me explain.

It runs fallout new Vegas perfectly fine (in fact, I won the game with all dlcs attached). I also have civilization 5 brave new world-- I've played about 20 full games of civ 5 with no problems.

Of course, both games are 3d games.

I'm wondering whether Gangland will run on my computer. It says in specs that you need a 3d card with directx. I'm assuming the game will run because it's 6 to 7 years older than the above games but I'm not exactly sure.

Does anyone know for certain?

it will not run in windows 8 but, your hardware should be strong enough to run it. you need either windows 7, vista, xp, 98 or 10 to run it. it is one of those wierd games that is not compatible with windows 8.
