So i found a problem when i started playing the mission "The Docks" conquest 5. Normally in this mission you start with some men with you. ( see this video.This guy starts with men with him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfIG3eAWVok ) But when i started i could only control Mario and there wasnt any gangster in my team (there were only the men of the friendly blue team). Also i couldnt even hire gangsters! In the left top corner of the screen there were crosses ( X) in the boxes (The boxes that show the members of your gang) and when i tried to hire gangsters a message appeared on the screen "You cant control more units" So i can only control Mario!
I think i had the same problem in previous missions but then there were only a few boxes crossed...
What is going on??

This is the games way of punishing you for losing men. Basically if you lose men on a mission, then in the next mission you get a red X and are allowed to hire one less man. It's a retarded system but I don't know anyway around it :( .

¿Is there any way to modify any file in the game to fix this?

Require thinking and strategy. It can get annoying but very satisfying if you succeed without losing men.
