I was wondering, if Gangland sold here on GoG.com is patched to the latest or at least 1.2?

I've checked out the description on Gangland's page and it never revealed, at this point of writing, it's version number.

If not, will manually installing downloaded patches work with GOG's version?

Yes it is patched to 1.4 because the map editor comes with it.

Thanks for the answer! And that is great news indeed. I'm most interested in the skirmish mode, plus the latest patch will no doubt ensure all the niggly bugs are fixed.
