i have 1.4 and Google is not helping me. but when i play sounds and voices sound like they are doubled or stutter or jumpy basically... i cant find out whats wrong...

I have vista 64 and had your exact same problem. I changed the compatibility setting of the gangland.exe from 98 to XP and the stuttering disappeared.

Late reply I know but it might help someone.

64bit Win7 here and this did the trick for me too. Thanks!

Getting massive sound glitching and stuttering on Vista 32bit, and the above fix didn't help me at all. Anyone know any other suggestions?
