We eagerly await its release!

Apparently a PS4 user was tweeted in late January that ep 5 would be "ready soonish", so about a month ago they still intended to provide the final chapter (for PS4 at least).

Exactly what "soonish" is, and what that means for Win/Mac/Linux users is anyone's guess...

It's interesting that this game gets so little flak for releasing without its ending, when Dark Matter copped so much that it was pulled from GOG. I suspect the difference is in the difficulty. Most Galak-Z players probably never reach the end of chapter 4 and so never notice that chapter 5 isn't there. ^_^

As far as I know, on PS4 the Void update hasn't been released yet, and the developer is also doing a mobile version of the game...so I'm afraid that until they're busy with this stuff we won't get Season 5!

Sorry for the confusion, The Void IS season 5! After finishing Season 4, I started The Void to see how this endless mode was, and the introduction video (providing a story for the mode) said it is Season 5. Honestly I was hoping for a proper Season 5, and I still think it would have been better than an endless mode, but the game is great anyway and The Void isn't bad in itself (I like the way they linked it to the main story).
