Whenever I'm in conversation, and sometimes when performing an action, the game stutters and lags. It has even on occasion crashed, leaving me with an 'unrecognised fatal exception' message.

I have an Geforce 940m graphics card and i5 processor, if that is at all pertinent.

Any help would be much appreciated,

I also occasionally get the "unrecognised fatal exception" crashes, especially during cutscenes. There have been quite a few forum posts about this, it seems to have something to do with graphics driver / codec conflicts. For me I either use a different Compatibility Mode in Windows or just watch the video directly using VLC (all GK cutscene videos are stored in the Data folder of the game - They are all BIK files and should run perfectly using VLC - I know this breaks the reality of the game, but so far I haven't found any other permanent fix)
