Hey guys, I've been running into the graphics flickering glitch in GK3, I've tried messing with the settings to no avail, and it looks like there really isn't a good solution. I'm wondering if any of you guys know if the old physical copies of the game have this problem or not and if they can work on Windows 7 64-bit. Thanks for any help.

I have the retailversion, bought back in 2001 and still play the game with that on Win7 x64, although I've also bought the gog-version just in case my cd's die.
I've had some glitching in the graphics, but not so much that it's gamewrecking.
If you're able to buy the hard-copy, you should have no trouble running it on your computer at least.
But you might want to change the graphic options in game, or in the config mini-launch that you can open from the gamedirectory if you get graphicsissues in that version as well.

Whelp I feel sheepish. Turns out all I had to do to stop the flickering was to open the game through the exe file in the GOG game folder instead of using the desktop shortcut so getting a hard copy won't be necessary. You mentioning the game directory made me think of that. So thank you.
No sweat :)
