I'm in the first time block in GK3 (10:00 to 12:00 am) and have done all the things listed in all the walkthrus, but time is not progressing. I'm sure I did some things out of order, but I've talked to everyone, looked at all the trigger items (book in store window, hotel register), made the important phone call, greeted Mosely, etc. Has anyone run into glitches in the beginning of the game? I did overhear the conversation in the museum, too. I have even played this game twice before (on CD years ago) but don't remember having this problem. Any suggestions? I feel stupid. And frustrated.
There's defininly something you haven't done since you're stuck in the timeblock.
You don't have to do stuff in a specific order, but there are trigger-actions you HAVE to do before you finish the timeblock.
-Revisit all locations.
-Look at and interact with everything.
-Talk to people
-Check your inventory and look at or interact with everything in your pockets.

Following a walkthrough may some times be a nuisance if you fail to read a couple of words or skip a line, since they tend to be written very linear.
If you need help, use UHS-hints to get out of a stuck situation instead of reading a complete walkthrough. It doesn't ruin the game as much as a standard walkthrough and you can choose what you wish to reveal.

No, I have 42 out of 40 points for the time period, and have definitely done everything - I've looked at many different walkthrus for checklists. I did find another post from another person with a similar problem - after I posted this question. I believe it's a bug I triggered by not making the phone call before another action, probably talking to the two women at the museum... I guess I'll restart. At least it's only the beginning of the game. *sigh* The other 2 times I played this game I probably did things more in sequence, having had the graphic novel material in front of me.
