I finished Gabriel Knight 2(Great game btw), and was going to uninstall it, but unins000 "stops working" and crashed .this is the first GOG title i have gone to install, so not sure if this is a common problem, or just one with GK2.

am I using the wrong thing to uninstall, or am I supposed to be doing something different? Please advise, and thank you for your time.

EDIT: Even tried rebooting and uninstalling from control panel> Add/remove programs. still no go... :s I mean its a good game, but not something i want stuck on my HD til next format...

EDIT 2: Also tried uninstalling other GOG titles,(GK1 and Star Control 3) and same thing. Wanting to make sure it wasn't me, I tried uninstalling non-GOG games, and they uninstalled just fine(Tried 3 of them, one store bought, one bought off Steam and one bought of Gamefly), so it doesn't SEEM to be my side, though I admit it could very well still be somehow. Since ive never uninstalled a GOG title before, my stupidity could be the issue..lol

Currently my system is a laptop, running I believe this one is Windows vista, im not 100% sure off hand, since this is one of my replacements while my main comp is being repaired.

Did you use the Uninstall file in the game folder or did you uninstall the game from Add/Remove programs in the control panel?

I've tried both ways, each time I get a message saying that the uninstaller has quit working. It's kind of frustrating. I can't think of anything off hand that I maybe doing incorrectly..I've contacted GOG for support on the matter, but still haven't heard from them.

To be honest, I am close to just deleting the folder, although i'm not sure what complications would arise from that.
unless you plan on playing it again, you may as well just delete the files and folders, I can't see how it will make any problems for your computer in general.
