Hi !

So I'm in chapter 4, and I'm getting an error every time I want to go past somewhere. The console pulls up and displays this :

"Console is ready
Debugger started, type 'exit' to return to the game.
Type 'help' to see a little list of commands and variables.
ERROR: Send to invalid selector 0x21b (purge) of object at 0001:2923 !"

If I hit the Escape key, the game crashes to desktop. Same thing if I type 'exit'. Can see the list though, but there's nothing in it that could help me as far as I can tell.

Does anyone have any idea what's happening with my file ? I can start a new game, I can load other save files made before this event, I just can't progress past that, it seems.

I just had the same issue. Ripped out SCUMMVM 2.0 and replaced it with the latest version and replaying the section so far has seemed clean.


edit: just to be clear about what i did - I went into the SCUMMVM subfolder (C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Gabriel Knight 2\scummvm) deleted everything, downloaded the x64 zip (not the installer) and extracted the contents and moved it all over into this folder

Obviously Scummvm versions should need to be updated anytime. If GOG does not update the ScummVM versions when the next 2.2.0 version arrives I don't know when It should need to be updated.
