This may sound a bit weird, but I get so... happy when ever an enemy sends over a mantis or someone to attack my ship, but I have fully upgraded doors, so I just open the air-locks by him and disable the teleporter with my ion ray so he can't escape. Then I just watch as he slowly scratches at the door before passing out from no oxygen. :]
FTL brings out my true brutal space captain.

At least you're not the type to disable an enemy's O2 just to watch them all suffocate.

Nah, it's much more civilized to use fire weapons and a rock boarding party...
