I own a Mac. The newest update, first my game crashes when I'm in sector 7 with the Class C rock cruiser, and in a battle with the ion hazard, the game crashes. I reload, and it crashes again, except this time my save file is GONE!

I start a new game, and I get a few sectors in, when again during a battle (no hazard this time) with the same kinda ship, and it crashes, I reload, it crashes again, and my save file is lost again!

This is NOT 'new and improved!' I NEVER had bugs like this BEFORE the update! Makes me wish I'd saved a copy of the old version!
