Yes it's interesting. There's been 2 games I've been thinking about lately.
Frost Punk and mostly The Long Dark.

Some of the things I learnt in these games might actually benefit us. I hope not in the same severity but you better know and be prepared with knowledge.
Yes I forgot about The Long Dark. Quite good at portraying survival in solitude.

I don't think we're quite THERE yet, but yes. :P
Frostpunk health care also illustrates the whole "flatten the curve" concept beautifully. If you bring in too many sick people from the frostlands all at once your healthcare is overwhelmed and people die, but if you bring them in one group at a time then you can process them without being overwhelmed (I've been doing Extreme Builders recently and it's nasty to bring in 80-person groups that are all sick when your population is still in the low hundreds. You have to be mindful not to bring in more than one group at a time lest you're crushed by all the sick)
