Anyways, I recently got to the level Slaying Ravana, where you are suppose to use Cyclops torpedoes to destroy the Ravana. I looked up multiple walkthroughs, and all of them explains how you need to use the Cyclops torpedo to destroy the Ravana. However, when I get to the ship load out screen, the only missiles I can equip are Tempest and Hornet missiles. If I just hit play without getting to the loadout screen, the only missiles I have are the Hornet missiles, and not the Cyclops.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Do I need to restart my singleplayer?

Are you playing Freespace 2 vanilla or FSO?

Which ship type are you using GTB Boanerges or GTB Medusa or another craft? Do you get a message saying you cannot equip your fighter with cyclops torpedos or the torpedos missing entirely from the list of weapons? There are other ways to slay Ravana according to some of the walkthroughs but cyclops torpedos certainly make it a lot easier.

Playing with Freespace 2 Open latest (in 2019) with latest freespace from gog.com.

Same problem: Only available secondary weapons are GTM-4 Hornet and GTM MX-6 Tempest - irrespective of whether GTB Ursa or GTB Medusa is selected as ship.

Thinking it might be related to MediaVPs MV_Assets, I ran game without them and still could not select Cyclops.

--- perhaps it isn't loading due to misnaming?

It's a gamestopper bug, of course. Maybe it can be fixed in mission editor?
