While Freespace 1 set the mark for space simulations, it's successor, Freespace 2, offers, through the use of the "Hard-Light Production" team, the chance to play Freespace 1 on the Freespace 2 engine. I purchased FS1 + Silent Threat while they were sold in boxes. But now I simply play the "FSPort" to get the nostalgia of Freespace 1 with all the great graphics of Freespace Open.
