Shsttered Star Confederation was a coalition of Free Space simulation pilots from all over the world. In the late 90's we used FRED to make our own missions and do battle against other clans such as the Rough Necks, Legion of Doom, and etc. most have gone else where but there are a few still listed at :

Hey Kahless, it's (obviously) SSC-Quantum_Delta here, although the site is very slow, the guys (or, quite a few of them at least) are still over at the Shattered Star eXiles website/forum - which is the top link if you google Shattered Star Confederation ;D
Hosting issues should be fixed soon.
