Hey folks

Just got Freespace and I'm annoyed at myself for taking so long to do so, amazing game!

Was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to tone down the sensitivity of the numpad for turning? I'm finding that I have to tap the keys to aim and not overdo it. Would like my ship to feel a little more cumbersome.

Seems you can only decrease joystick sensitivity.

Thanks

Mouse is a much better controller than keypads. Trust me on that.
If you have a gamepad with an analog stick, it can also prove useful. I still prefer playing with a joystick, but when I can't I use a gamepad in my left hand, only for the analog stick (pitch and yaw), with the right hand using either the keyboard (for targeting, energy management...) or the mouse (for precision aiming). It works decently.
Mouse it is. Derp. Well, I actually find that at close quarters fingers poised over the numpad for quick turns is useful, but the mouse on the most sensitive setting is where it's at!
