nightcraw1er.488: I just foolowed a thread through and found out about Knossos. Now this seems to be a mod downloader/runner softweare, which I can get working. My question is this, how do you keep mods once you have installed them. I tried zipping up the folder where it stores mods/FS2, then unpacking over a fresh install, however this did not show mods that were installed. Essentially I want to be abel to install mods, then zip it all up and come back later on and not have to redownload everything. Maybe I am missing an inventory or something?

It's very unlikely someone knows about what you ask here, personally I usually redownload everything every time because often in the months I would leave something aside some update would come along and I'd have to redownload anyway.

Det_Bullock: The mods technically work even without the launcher, a manual install would allow to keep the stuff on backup if you want.
They are developing a new version of the launcher that will rework everything and probably make it easier to backup the mods while using it.
