How can you tell which you are playing the expansion pack Silent Threat or Freespace?
When I go to the missions in the options screen it shows ST in front of missions from Freespace and there is no option to play Silent Threat missions. Freespace Starts off with three training missions and then goes to The Eve of Destruction. Whereas Silent Threat the Expansion Pack starts off with Silence All Voices. Freespace has 32 missions and Silent Threat has 12 for a total of 44 missions. Under the mission simulator there is only 30 missions plus 3 gauntlet missions. Will there be an option to play through Silent Threat missions after the first Freespace? missions are played through?

I think if you have the standard install of FS1 (from GOG) then the silent threat campaign will appear in the 'campaigns' list which you can access from the game's main screen. Can't remember which bit of the screen gets you to campaigns but I'm sure I saw it in there when I first installed it and was wondering same thing as you :)
By main screen I mean the view of the ship interior you get when you launch the game.
