Hi, just wondering how (if) I can get the game to recognize the thumb buttons on my Logitech MX518? The game just doesn't see them in the config screen.
Thanks,

are you able to map the keys to other functions in windows? (i.e. maybe like the "m" key to a mouse button or etc)
if so, try binding those extra buttons to keys on your keyboard.
Hi,
Thanks for responding. Yes, I have the Logitech bloatware installed that allows me to remap keys to the thumb buttons, but I was kinda hoping to avoid that, as it's a bit klunky.
I should have specified that I'm running FSOpen 3.6.9. If I wasn't, I'd just chalk it up to FS2 being an old game that doesn't support extra buttons. But since there is a community that is still upgrading the game, I'm a bit surprised that no one has addressed this, especially since this is a game that uses a LOT of buttons.
Enjoying the game quite a bit nonetheless.

Yes, as far as I'm aware, there is no built in support for it in FSopen.
OK, well, that settles that. Too bad, that would be a fine addition to the game.
