Just got off a fresh download/install of Freespace. I turned off UAC and when I try running the EXE, it immediately crashes.
I'm running Vista 32-bit Home Premium. I tried running the EXE in Windows 95 compatibility and 640 x 480 resolution but still doesn't work.
Any help? Thanks.
Edit: Found out the problem. My Quadro FX 570M, for some reason, won't work with these old games. By reinstalling the drivers using a modified INF, I tricked my laptop into thinking I have a GeForce 8600M GT. Now it works. Too bad it is 640x480...
