[Game: Fresspace 2, no mod]
[OS: Win XP SP3]
[PB: Black screen]

Hello,

I installed Freespace 2 (vanilla) but when I launch it I only get a black screen. Computer is not 'blocked' per se but I can't return to desktop without rebooting.

I tried with FR2.exe and Freespace2.exe (with the configuration tool)

Do you know how to solve the problem?

Try setting up your video card in the Launcher.

Actually I figure out what the problem was : a window appears when I launch the game but I cannot see it. I do not know what it says but as long as I don't tap 'alt-tab' + Enter/space, the game will not really continue
