I've tried making a custom character using the character creator, but as soon as I try to buy a power it crashes. I can look at list of powers, but as soon as I try to confirm the power I want the game crashes to desktop without any reports or anything.

Is this a common problem? Anyone know of a solution?

Running Vista 32-bit.

Turns out I missunderstood how the creator worked. Didn't choose a mesh for the guy so that probably messed things up. Chose a mesh and everything works fine.
