On the one hand, it's great that this is finally on GoG. On the other hand, I'm disappointed that there's no Mac version. I know for a fact that both the CD & Floppy versions run great in ScummVM so there shouldn't be any reason why there's no Mac version.

It's called the "Activision doesn't care about anything but Windows" feature. If you hadn't noticed, their entire catalog on GOG is Windows-only. This was definitely a publisher decision as usual. You'll have to do your own workaround with Boxer or ScummVM for this one because there's a snowball's chance in hell that there will be an official Mac (or Linux, for that matter) version.

It would be great for all collectors if the mac versions were incorporated because there are some differences on some fo the games between their PC counterparts.

MAC version of KQ6 for example had a slightly different introduction video with some additional angles and shots, extra lines.

Freddy Pharkas has some extra jokes, and an easter egg in the swamp.

Use your Google-fu. Google "Freddy Pharkas for MAC"

There are any number of abandonware sites that have it for free download.
