Thank you.
Actually that update was for the 2th of March, not for today.

You're welcome! Uploading the changelogs to the forum is a helpful thing that many folks do here. ;) As for the update's date, that's what my library's changelog suggest (see screenshot below); i guess GOG delayed to upload it for some reason.

Yes, the updates for Linux are delayed because they are uploaded not by us but by the GOG team.
We appreciate the thing you've made, but seeing this issue with delays.... Wouldn't you be offended if we close this discussion and open our own (official), so we could post there every update as soon as we roll it out? Or we could write right here but it would be nice if you could update the first post then, too.

You can do whatever you like, i have no problem with that. ;) Usually we take turns posting the changelogs and that way there is no need to update the initial post; that way there's one post for each update and since we do not usually discuss in the changelog threads, they're usually clean and easy to see all relevant info; also, upon contacting a blue, they promote changelog threads to stickies. But, if you feel there is a need for an official changelog thread, be my guest! :)

Please allow me to share information that your wording suggests that you're missing.

A Win or MacOS user on GOG can install their games in one of two ways - using GOG's client (GOG Galaxy), or standalone installers they download via the site. There is no client for Linux users, so they're limited to the latter way.

Devs/pubs push updates via the dev portal, and said updates are made immediately available to those using the client.
Updates for standalone installers are tested and packaged by GOG before being made available for download as standalone executables.

Changelogs are not available on the client, they are only added to one's library on the site.
Changelogs are usually made available along with the updates of standalone installers.

To sum things up - you uploaded the update on Mar 2 via the dev portal, and those using the client got it on that day, while those not using the client got the update in their library on Mar 5, along with the changelog.

Changelog for Update 1.2.304.1571 (20 March 2018)

- performance and stability of the game have been improved. The CPU load during gameplay has been reduced THREEFOLD. And it has been reduced to zero when the game is minimized or the focus is removed from the window;
- added support for two monitors;
- the game window now captures the mouse cursor. Now you won’t have any random switching when playing in the window or the full screen mode with two monitors;
- added the ‘dialogue’ cursor when pointing on Leah (when the smart cursor mode is on): learn from Leah the status of the current assignment and her thoughts on this matter;
- added the ability to enter the name of the save in Russian, Ukrainian and German for all platforms;
- the saving limit is temporarily set up to 40 to speed up the save/load process;
- the cursor has been fixed (less animations, but more convenience when playing);
- added the ability to study items in the inventory by right-clicking on them (including edible items without eating them). To treat Leah, you still need to use the item on her;
- added the ability to highlight active zones not only by pressing the space bar, but also by clicking the middle mouse button;
- scrolling the inventory with the mouse wheel without even pointing at it (it's very convenient and fast);
- the module of the chest has been completely rewritten (now there are no breakages);
- the rabbit module has been rewritten (you can interact with it now);
- some diary entries and characters phrases were fixed – added hints for the puzzles; puzzle logic has been improved;
- added some new Leah’s diary entries;
- added an indication of growth of the quest plants (it depends on the plot’s development, not on real life time);
- one of the main quest solutions has been changed to be more logical (no spoilers);
- added keys layout help and illustrated help on the levels of complexity (click "?" in the upper right corner to open);
- some minor fixes and improvements to the game’s interface.

If you don’t see any fixes we’ve been discussing with you in our community or at the forum in this update, that means they are planned for the next one and need some more time for implementation.

WARNING! The new version doesn't support the old saves, it has too many changes.

Gingertips: Changelog for Update 1.2.304.1571 (20 March 2018)
Great additions and improvements (did not test them yet but it already sounds great in writing) :)

Edit: Also thankls for posting the changelogs here as well - we appreciate this very much. It's nice to have them all in one thread so people can also see what happened and improved during the development of the game. Don't worry, GOG customers are used to such threads (as it has been said before) and won't stop reading the OP only.

Awesome! Thanks for posting the changelog here! It makes it easier to follow how the game is progressing overall. Can't wait to try out Chapter 1 again this weekend :)
Thank you for your support) We'll keep it up.

Lebostein: game crashes while loading savegames from the current version...
That's a very unspecific problem. Could you please attach to the message the save file that crashes the game? All the save files are kept at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Foxtail

Also, please make sure you've started a new game.
And we have a special thread for bug reports.

Do you really mean the current version or the one prior the update? I tried to reload an old savegame (even though it is stated they won't work anymore) out of curiosity and my game crashed too. Savegames I made using the updated version of the game however are working fine.

Thanks for implementing my suggestion about the inventory. :)
