I wonder the same question: where is the mod manager??
Disabled for 1.0 launch, will be added later.

As far as I understand, there is also and experimental branch with mods already enabled. Keep in mind that is for mod compatibility tests and to enable modders to learn and build stuff already before it will be back for all.
We've reverted to the 12/23 EA version which is, for us, a very good village-builder we're quite comfortable with, after playing it for some five years. The mods allow us to tailor the experience to our preferences. For us, the official release was, to put it mildly, a disappointment.
Good for you can still play older version and be in somewhat happy state for now. Hope both of you can recover from that disappointment and get over it with time.

And for those who actually want to suport the game, they can use experimental branch and get involved on discord to help bring mods to version 1.0
Are you referring to the Galaxy Configure, Manage Installation, Beta Channels, Experimental specification? Cause that's what we had to revert to, from disabled, to go back to the 12/23 EA version, from the "official release" associated with disabled, which we were unpleasantly surprised by when we intially played it about a month ago. Not even the same experience anymore in numerous significant ways from the EA version we came to know and enjoy over a period of years. Really sad and unfortunate. Just sayin'...
They just released new version and it brought back mods, enjoy!
Do we know if the mods can be used in the GOG version of the game?
