I have NO IDEA why the game won't allow me to save. It gives me this message: "Cannot write save file to disk" or something like that. I checked the "stdout.txt" file in the game's main directory and it says: "Couldn't create C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Nightdive Studios\Forsaken EX\saves. No save games will be stored".

HELP!!!

P.S. Before anyone accuses me of pirating the game, I assure you I acquired it legitimately.

Yes, I did. The game still doesn't allow me to save.

They usually are quick to respond.

I've already tried all the solutions recommended by the GOG staff and I STILL CANNOT SAVE MY GAME.
I have asked for a refund, but my request was apparently ignored.

This is so frustrating as I love this game, but not being able to save makes it impossible to advance.
