In the extra addons for this game, there is a listing for Alternate Version but there doesn't seem to be any information on it. Does anybody know what it does or what it's for?

It's the SNEG re-release that has modern compatability updates and a fixed controller (kind of, in my experience it was a little wonky, YMMV).
