Just download this little text file here:

http://www.megafileupload.com/9c5a/Rloft.txt

And follow these THREE simple steps:

1. Open dosbox_menzo.conf with Notepad.

2. Under [sdl], look for mapperfile=mapper-0.74.map

3. Replace mapper-0.74.map with the file you downloaded, complete with path just to make sure, for example: C:\Users\...\D-Fend Reloaded\Rloft.txt

4. SAVE the file. That last bit is somewhat important.

5. :)

Q & E strafe.

GOG! I give you permission to USE that file & include it in this & the upcoming Ravenloft packages, so that it's easier to my GOG brethren to play these games comfortably.

Other extras will follow shortly.

Cheers!

It's just a text-file, you should copy-paste the contents directly into a forum post for people to copy-paste themselves. File hosting services are unreliable and overkill for just a plain text file.

EDIT: You are using the DOSBox keymapper features, so it won't work on OS X. Boxer, which is what GOG is using, has had that feature removed with the intention of replacing it, but that never happened.

No problem, I just wanted to point it out preemptively before someone asked the question. It should be possible to just install the original DOSBox and move the game files out of GOG's wrapper, then your text file would work, but that's too much hassle for me :P Plus remapping keys is just a band-aid solution sadly, because the keys will be remapped everywhere in the game, even when entering text. Not that big of an issue in this case, but still.

By chance does anyone have the full contents of this file? As you could probably guess, the link above is dead, and this pasted version appears cut off. :(

It's not cut off, that's where it ends.
