I've been looking around but can't seem to find a clear answer either in the manuals or online. If you transfer characters from Pool of Radiance to Curse of the Azure Bonds, does any of their equipment also transfer, or is it all lost? And does that change from game to game, i.e. do some games let you keep equipment on transferred games and others don't? I'm asking about the Pools series, the Savage Frontier, and the the Dragonlance games.

I'm mainly wondering because I made a party of all fighters with the intent to dual class some of them, but didn't realize Pool of Radiance didn't allow dual-classing. So if I can carry some magic-user or cleric scrolls from one game to the next, I'll keep them. Otherwise I'll just sell them now. Thanks for any help.

PoR -> CotAB: No items transferred
CotAB -> SotSB: No items transferred

All the remaining games allow transfer of all (or most) items to their sequels.

Perfect, that's exactly what I needed to know. Looks like I'm doing some inventory decluttering.
Transferring from Champions to Death Knights will cause you to lose a few items if you didn't finish the game (if you did, the game takes them away from you--'you give your major items to the knights, to aid them in other battles.' Wait, I do?)

Transferring from Gateway to Treasures, a few items are removed as well--in particular ones you got from beating a certain fight you didn't have to finish the game to win.

Oh, and you can transfer from Curse to Gateway, and from Pools of Darkness to Treasures (remove characters from party in the first game and put them in the second game's save directory and add them). You can also go the other way but a lot of items will get junk names (the item name pointers will point to the wrong place).

Secret to Pools and Death Knights to Dark Queen transfer everything as far as I know.
