Alright thanks to the forums I figured out how to get past the Race selection in pools of radiance. I'm now stuck on the character customization. I select a weapon icon, then choose keep. I'm stuck in a menu "Next, Prev, Keep, Exit"

When I hit any one of the letters nothing happens. It'll highlight the word but not continue.

I've jammed on every key on my keyboard, return, spacebar... even turned on and off the num lock and tried those keys. Nothing will advance me past this screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you installed the game correctly, and not in the Program Files folder?

I just ran the installer via the Galaxy installer.

D:\GalaxyClient\Games\Pool of Radiance

Should this be installed somewhere else?

No, that looks correct.
Have you tried usinh the Page Up and Page Down Keys, or the 7, 4, 1 keys on the num pad?

Page up/Down wasn't doing anything useful, and I tried the num pad as mentioned to no avail.

Of course NOW it's not doing it...

The only thing I did different this time is not reroll my stats 50 million times and took the first set of stats.

I'll do some more testing tonight, perhaps it's the amount of time the application is running. If I can figure out what is causing it I'll post, if it has magically stopped I'll update.

Edit: Thus far unable to replicate the issue. 10 minutes into rerolls and customization it's still working. Not really sure what changed here. I spent far more time customizing and rerolling this character.

Perhaps threatening the game fixed it?
