Back in 1991, there was a game called Neverwinter Nights, which was Part 2 in the Savage Frontier series of the Gold Box Games. Wondering why GOG doesn't have it. Having to go from Part 1 to 3 seems odd. Wish GBC had it, too, for that matter.
If you mean "Neverwinter Nights, Enhanced Edition", it is available on Steam. Maybe GOG can't get it because Steam already has the rights.
It was an online multiplayer game on AOL. Since the service doesn’t exist anymore, selling the client would be rather useless. Stormfront Studios also does not exist anymore. There has been some user effort to mod it into a standalone single player game, but it isn’t capable of saving progress.

TYVM for responding. Didn't realize it was a MMO. Just knew it was part of the series according to the Gold Box series listed online. Thank-you for clarifying :)

Glad I could help!
Neverwinter Nights 1991 can be played single player under Forgotter Realms Unlimited Adventures as a module. Not really sure about the differences.
