I have not gotten any of the Forgotten Realms 1 and 3 games to run under Windows 8.1. I have verified the installs.
DosBox launches and then I get a black screen followed by a crash to desktop. Any ideas on what to do next? I'v tried some compatibility mode tweaks without success.

I just checked; none of my Dos box programs will run!!!

Have you tried messing with the various video modes and related settings? You can do so with the "Dosbox Configurator" which is found in the game folder (wherever you installed it) for GOG games which use Dosbox. For example, you could try a different graphic mode (overlay, surface, opengl, etc).

Thanks, I was able to fix it by changing graphic modes. I don't know how the mode got changed since previously all the dos games worked without tweaking.
