Like that these collections have been put up on GOG. Loved these games back in the day. However, what about Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday? Will that be making an appearance on GOG in the future? I can't get my old floppy version to work correctly in Dosbox no matter what I try, I kinda hoped you guys might save me the trouble :)

I wouldn't be surprised if the issue is that it has an entirely different copyright holder. I have some vague recollection of it being with a wife/daughter/someone related to the estate of the author, maybe, and not part of the same license as the rest of the D&D games...? I could be well off here, but I think simple licensing issues is the big blocker here.

What problems are you having as I'm running Countdown and Matrix Cubed just fine!

It won't recognise file/save location. I've tried everything, including installing it directly to C:/ and running from there, as was intended originally. No joy, so it won't save.

Are you running them via dos-box or directly via windows?

Better solution is running them via dosbox.

And if you do so, it shall also have no problem having the good savepath.

Also IIRC in the buck.cfg default-wise is A; installed as the savepath. (4th-line).

So changing it via notepad could do the trick as well.

Hope it helps. ;)

I usually use D'Fend Reloaded and Dosbox. Even configuring it through D'Fend I can't seem to get it to save. Thanks for the reply though, I will try the .cfg edit, as I didn't know about that, thanks.
