It seems there is no way to identify two handed items in Eye of the Beholder 2. To cast Improved Identify, you have to be holding the item to be identified in your hand and the spell works on nothing else. However, when you equip a two handed item, it grays out your spell book, making it impossible to cast the spell. Anyone know of a way to identify two handed items in this game?
You can just right-click the spell book, keep the spell screen open while you put that item in your hands (replace the book if necessary), and cast the spell from the spell screen.
Oops, thanks. I didn't think of that.
What you place in your right hand takes priority. So if you place the spellbook in your right hand and two-handed weapon in your left, it doesn't grey out the spellbook.

Oh. Didn't realize that. (This is my first or second time through the series.)
