Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to track the history of GOG sales. It's possible there might be something on the internet that shows this.
I am just posting here to clarify something about the various games you are talking about:
The term "Gold Box" specifically refers to a series of nine (A)D&D RPGs that ran on particular engine; in terms of plot and character imports, they made up three separate series set in Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance. (The "Krynn" games have their own forum.) The series name derives from the fact that the games originally shipped in boxes with literal gold borders. They were created in-house by SSI.
The Eye of the Beholder series was a separate trilogy, done by Westwood, that used a different engine. The gameplay between the two series is very different. Menzoberranzan was a still later game, done by DreamForge, using yet another engine (though this last was probably heavily based on the EoB engine). SSI published all D&D games of this era but did not develop most of the later ones.
One more thing: The only game you mentioned that can be considered a true "Dark Elf" one (in the sense that that's the focus of the plot) is Menzoberranzan. Several Gold Box and EoB games certainly contain drow, but they are not the focus of those.
