Hi folks, I'm playing in german, so forgive me for translation-guessing-errors.
I'm just in the temple depths and gave the dino-rat his cheesy-pufs. Followed her tracks, activated the two button throne and vacuumed the dusty mosaic.
But how do I solve this riddle?
I'm playing without any online walkthrough so far and couldn't find any hint (beside the solution).
So if I had played this in my young day's my options were: Brute-Force through every combination or thew a tantrum at the schoolyard for a "You're stupid, Dummkopf. Press the "H"-ish, than the "3I"-ish one! Why! Because you're dumb!"
Both options are not what I'm looking for.

So a "why it's these two buttons" would be nice

Thanks in advance

A hint:

There is indeed logic to the puzzle. Take a look at the wall and the floor for a pattern.

Second hint:

The position/order of the symbols doesn't matter.

The solution:

You need to press the only symbol on the wall that is NOT represented on the floor.

I solved it too in the meanwhile. But anyways, thanks a lot
My problem was overthinking: I thought of the wall as a stamp and the floor as the seal - so the glyphs had to be mirrored (which is wrong).
I even included rotated glyphs (again wrong).

[spoiler]
Just compare the glyphs out of YOUR view. No rotating, no mirroring, no nothing.
Check any wall-glyph with every floor-glyph: If the glyph exists anywhere on the floor, don't press it.
If the wall-glyph is missing, it's the one you should press.
After the wall flashes green, it's the samme puzzle again with another glyph this time.

...I feel a little ashamed now :-)

Greeting's to spain, have a nice week!
