I've been getting some random freezing in FlatOut while in mid-race.
It seems to happen after about an hour of play, while the game freezes, it usually becomes playable again after a couple of minutes.
You do, however, lose the race, which is annoying.
Anyone having this sort of trouble?

Me too, I get the same error where my computer will shut down the game.
I am running the game on the following system.
Windows XP Pro
CPU: speed 1.2 ghz
Ram: 1ghz
Video Card: ATi 256mb PCI
No spyware or virus in the system (computer is strictly offline)
can someone please advice on a fix for this?

Have you tried lowering the video settings or changing the refresh rate?
