Ok since my old logitech gamepad rumblepad 2 doesn't work anymore(and it didn't work properly always) i got another gamepad some sbox gp-2009 and what i notice when i drive and steer right that it likes to go right more then left usually crashing me in the wall. Steering left seems more correct i reduced the sensitivity but it didn't help and what dead zone does i have no idea, it seems there is something wrong with steering right though.
The logitech one didn't have this problem.
Any solutions or settings i could use, if i can't solve this i am better of with the keyboard or dpad but that will only hurt my fingers the dpad.

Anyway a friend bought this gamepad for me,also if it helps it says doubleschock contrller on it.

If your gamepad also veers to the right in the gamecontrollerpanel it's a clear indication the controller is faulty.
All you can do then is dissassamble the controller and spray a little WD40 or some other contactcleaner in the pots and hope it solves it, or bind the steering to a different axis within the game.
I changed the controls, guess having throttle and steer on the same analog stick wasn't the best idea.
Managed to continue my game where i left and played rather well.
Edit: gave the controller back to repairs now since warranty doesn't allow me to open up the gamepad myself.

Edit2: Got a new gamepad this one works better.
Edit3: Sbox gamepad are shitty, the left analog stick wears down too quickly and is now sticks left. So i won't buy anymore from them guess only pc controllers i can trust are logitech
