Hello all, I just had a curiosity.

I looked at the system requirements for FlatOut 2, and they stated that Intel graphics cards are not supported.

Has anyone tried the game on an Intel GPU though? Because I took the above statement to mean that Intel GPUs aren't officially supported. Thought that it may not necessarily mean that they don't work. (especially since I looked at the system requirements of a completely different, unrelated game that say Intel graphics cards "are known to work but aren't officially supported.")

If Intel GPUs don't work, that's OK. I have switchable graphics on my laptop (Intel 4500MHD integrated + Radeon HD 3650 discrete) and I use the discrete GPU for all my graphically demanding games, since they run much better with it.

Cheers!

Both Flatout and Flatout 2 work well on my Surface Pro 2 with intel onboard video at 720p so I dont think you should have any problems.

Older intel onboard video cards are a different matter as they had much worse levels of 3D performance.

Thanks for the answer.=)

Yeah I figured older Intel cards wouldn't be very powerful, so I intend on using my discrete AMD GPU, but it's still a curiosity of mine.
FO2 runs 720p@60fps on my Intel HD 4400. You can probably get 30fps top from that 4500MHD.
